Anti-internet, kind of.

Lately each time i try and start doing something, my phone goes off with a new facebook bulletin (such and such has written on your wall/someone has invited you to said event). And i immediately go and check it online and spend an extra 80 hours creeping. Subsequently, i have deleted my facebook/myspace. i feel releived, a few kids smoking break friends tell me how they want to but can't and give some reason to justify why they can't, and though i have said a few, I figure life was perfectly fine before i had one and i will survive without one. Plus, it was starting to creep me out, how facebook knew what advertisements to put on my browser i.e i went to germany, and one of the ads on the side bar said, 'studieren int deustchland' which is creepy cause for a while i wanted to in fact studieren int deustchland and i do not beleive i emailed them and told them that i wanted to study abroad in Germany.

Now that i have freed my life of facebook and other social networking sites all i have left is this blog.
So for anyone who suddenly realized shit Simone's facebook is gone, e-mail me.

Now on another note, as i was being lethargic, laying in bed contemplating what to have for lunch sifting through a many email. My friend Sierra, sent me a quick bbm telling me about interns needed at GQ being advertised on Fashionista. Obviously the second i got that i had a new g-mail window open sending my resume and jotting down why i am the PERFECT candidate for the job. Fingers crossed, church visited hopefully i get the job. But if i don't, its just another semester stuck in Boston engraving copper, making prints, hating my life. That's mellow dramatic not really true, i love printmaking. But i'd rather be in the GQ closet being ordered around.

It's been a long day filled with self reflection. I deleted my biggest internet vice and applied for a new job. Now if i could only shake my blackberry and smoking cigarettes id be normal and well adjusted.

ps. Read the article i stole the image from, you'll love it.
